Description

eControl mIO – Modular, flexible and robust
The advanced control unit of the eControl mIO has a powerful 1 GHz microcontroller for signal processing. A capacitive 7" touch display makes operation user-friendly through high accuracy and multi-touch capability. The PLC is available in two variants – either as a simple built-in version or in a robust aluminium housing. On the memory side, 4 GB flash memory, up to 512 MB RAM and an SD slot for up to 64 GB of additional memory volume are available.

Numerous interfaces and perfectly matched extensions
The fanless system has an Ethernet interface, for example for connection to a host system. In addition, the controller has two USB interfaces, four digital inputs, eight digital outputs, and four analog inputs and outputs each.

In addition, two interfaces for temperature sensors (PT100) and the control of stepper motors are possible. WLAN and Bluetooth for wireless data transmission as well as CAN can be optionally integrated on top. Due to the modular principle, optional adaptations and quick implementations of customer-specific requirements can be easily realized

Development framework Qt and ready-to-use graphics and control libraries
The controller is programmed with the platform-independent development framework Qt 5.11.3. It is designed in C++ and libraries for a graphical user interface (GUI) are available to them. The provision of a control library allows a very fast integration of stepper motors. The operating system used is Linux.
