Description

Housing and interfaces
The new COMhawk® xt has two CAN in­ter­faces and one Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi, optional Blue­tooth and a 2G/LTE mobile connection are available for wireless data ex­change. In addition, the COMhawk® xt is op­tio­nally equipped with a GNSS re­cei­ver for po­si­tio­ning. Further equipment options in­clude one 3-axis acceleration sensor, a tem­pe­ra­ture sensor and a digital input. The data can be stored on an internal memory of up to 64 GB, or transferred directly to a cloud sys­tem for further processing.

Wide range of applications
COMhawk® xt can be used in various applications of mobile machinery. From the simple data logger that wirelessly trans­mits the recorded operating data, to acentral com­mu­ni­ca­tion, te­le­me­try and dia­gnos­tic gate­way that combines various com­mu­ni­ca­tion standards. The ex­ten­ded temp­er­a­ture range from –20°C to +70°C and the com­pact housing with protection class IP69K ensure com­pre­hen­sive pro­tec­tion even under ex­treme vi­bra­tions and tem­per­a­tures. The Linux operating system also offers a simple and optimal basis for creating OEM app­li­ca­tions without increased effort and costs.
