Description

Master module and CAN interfaces
The master module forms the basis of the modular module and is necessary in every constellation. The entire IO system is con­trol­led by an integrated micro­con­troller. 16 digital outputs, 16 digital in­puts, two ana­log outputs and two analog inputs are already integrated. The module has a status LED display to show the status and switching states of the digital IOs. As interfaces for the data exchange, the module has two RJ45 sockets for the CAN interface, which enables a simple and fast connection. The module ID and baud rate of the CAN fieldbus can be con­venient­ly set via DIP switches.

 

Maximum flexibility through individual ex­pan­sion options
Up to six IO modules can be connected via an extension interface as required. The design of the respective mo­dules can be selected as required. The ad­dres­sing of the extension mo­dules is carried out automatically and the master module rec­og­nizes the connected module and the addressing. Currently, a mo­tor module, analog module, digital module or temperature module are available as ex­pan­sion options.

Robust connection technology
The phoenix clamps used ensure a simple and extremely robust connection, which in com­bi­na­tion with the robust aluminium hous­ing makes the module very resistant and process-safe.
