Our IPCs can be used in many different use-cases quite conveniently: on the ground in any form of assembly station, in the water for controlling valves or - if you want - in the air. The whole design concept is based on exchangeable components which allows an easy adaptation to specific process requirements. CPU, interface cards, even the front cover can be configured individually for both IPC and ePC. That makes for an high-end operator of CAN-networks, a fanless controlling device in tough environments or as a simple substitute of a desktop PC.
Our IPC-4 family mainly consist of four different classes of IPCs that vary from 600MHz Intel Celeron over 1.6GHz Intel Atom up to 2x2.16GHz Intel Core2Duo. RAM and hard disk memory can also be defined ranging from 250MB RAM to 3GB and not HDD at all up to 350 GByte. There are also HDDs for high temperatures available as well as CF-cards and solid state disks (SSDs) with no rotating parts. The Intel Atom CPU is now commonly used and offers a small energy consumption combined with an appealing price-performance-ratio.
The ePC frequently incorporates the Intel Atom chipset. This allows for passive cooling even at high operating temperatures such as 85°C.
Benefit from our knowhow in interface cards. All our IPCs have two free slots for extension cards like PC104+ and PCI104. You cann easily add additional features to your IPC:
Link2Go will set new standards concerning the simplicity of connecting modular extensions to an industrial PC. The ePC contains an interface for having extension externally connected to it without changing the housing or even opening it. Extension might be touch displays, external HDDs etc.
The interfaces are all located on the front cover for a clearly arranged cabling in the control cabinet. The devices ha a TS35 top hat rail for easy assembly. Several certificats like CD and GL guarantee operational capabilities in many different environments like for tasks on ships.
